At LifeWise, we use digital health messages as a simple way to make sure you’re getting the most out of your health plan and benefits.

When you sign up for digital health messages, we’ll send you text messages with a link to your personalized health feed. In your feed, we will share updates including important benefits information or alerts, payment reminders, timely care suggestions, or tips on how to save money on care.

Use digital health messages to access your personal plan information, including your member ID card, quickly and securely, at any time and from anywhere.

Just added: Chat feature

With digital health messages, some members may now also receive a chat link for communicating directly to a nurse or care coordinator. The chat feature, with instant responses available 8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily, enables a real-time text discussion about more urgent or unique healthcare needs.

With chat, select members can ask questions, get answers, and set plans for follow up appointments with their primary care providers or specialists.

Think of digital health messages as your own personalized communication channel with LifeWise. Most members get an average of one to two messages per month. But each message goes a long way toward experiencing the best of your benefits.

How to sign up

Go to our sign-up page and enter your member ID, the mobile phone number on which you want to receive messages, and your date of birth. Then accept the terms and conditions and submit. There is no app to download.

The first text you receive will be a request to verify your identity; an added layer of security and the final part of the signup process.

Rest assured, digital health messages from LifeWise are HIPAA compliant, which means they are safe, secure, and for your eyes only. Links sent in text messages from LifeWise will be available to you for 72 hours. If they expire before you’ve had a chance to connect, you can click the “resend” link button.

You can also opt out of digital health messages from LifeWise at any time. Simply go to the most recent text message from LifeWise and reply with “STOP.”

What’s the charge?

Nothing from us. Digital health messages from LifeWise are free and designed to give you another way to stay connected with your plan, benefits, and care. Of course, depending on your mobile service, standard messaging and data rates may apply.
